  • Trauma Specialists of Delaware

At Trauma Specialists of Delaware, we believe that traumatic events, big and small affect people’s lives and it takes specific interventions to effectively heal these wounds.  Often traumatic events end up causing many symptoms, such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, flashbacks, difficulty in relationships and anger.

We offer therapy for each individual, based on his or her needs and goals for therapy for a wide range of issues.  We  are a group of therapists who offer the expertise in therapy and our clients offer expertise on themselves.  Together, we work to pursue healing.

  • State of Mind Counseling Services

What makes State of Mind Counseling Services truly special is how we approach healing with compassion, collaboration, and a deep belief in your inner strength. We believe that you already possess the tools for lasting change, and our role is to help you uncover, strengthen, and use them in meaningful ways.

Therapy at State of Mind isn’t a one-size-fits-all process. We recognize that each person’s story is unique, and we take the time to tailor a treatment plan that reflects your specific needs, goals, and circumstances. The relationship between therapist and client is the foundation of the work we do, and we prioritize building a safe, trusting, and empowering environment where you can show up as your authentic self.

Our team is here to walk alongside you offering guidance, insight, and support as you move toward healing, clarity, mindfulness, and wellness. Growth happens when we show up fully, even when it’s hard. By doing the work together, we believe the most meaningful and lasting outcomes are possible. Our shared goal is simple yet powerful: to help you become the best version of yourself.

  • ROOTS Farm & Forest School

ROOTS Farm & Forest School is an outdoor-based education program with campuses in Georgetown, Milton, and Townsend, Delaware. We offer hands-on, nature-centered learning experiences for children and families, blending academics, social-emotional development, environmental stewardship, and life skills. Through project-based learning and therapeutic play in natural environments, we create safe, inclusive spaces where all children — including neurodivergent learners — can thrive.

In addition to our enrichment programs, we now offer a full four-day alternative school program, designed for families seeking a consistent, meaningful, and non-traditional education model. This immersive program blends academics with homesteading, mindfulness, and outdoor exploration — all aligned with overarching Common Core standards in a way that honors each child's pace and learning style.

Our campuses include vibrant nature playscapes with mud kitchens, balance beams, fairy gardens, and loose parts play; children’s gardens and food forests; and a variety of animals like goats, ducks, rabbits, and chickens. These dynamic spaces act as living classrooms, where students explore, build confidence, and develop real-world skills in connection with the natural world.

We serve over 800 children annually through homeschool programs, seasonal camps, afterschool workshops, and community events. Our goal is to reimagine education by connecting kids to nature, to their community, and to themselves.

  • Mindful Psychotherapeutics

As an indigiqueer neurospicy Latine, it is essential to serve the LGBTQIA2S+ and BIPOC communities as a way to stay connected to my roots; I offer psychotherapy services in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. I tailor my work to meet clients' individual needs and create a safe space for them to process their life experiences.

My therapeutic approach is person-centered and strength-based, focusing on building rapport and a trusting relationship by working with clients through a decolonizing and anti-oppression lens to help them understand their own stories. My therapy specialties include racial inequality, systematic oppression, life transitions, coping skills, body neutrality, and self-esteem.
